WINTER TRAINING

Each training session will be broken down into three, 30 minute blocks.

30 Minutes, Working Out (will be age specific)

Professional Speed, Strength and Agility for older groups. Younger groups will do more speed and agility and body control workouts). These workouts are designed to get your player to move better and be more athletic overall. Many movements in baseball and softball require a very specific range of motion, movement patterns. and strength in areas that don't happen in day-to-day life- We partner with professional trainers for a targeted training regiment that is designed to specifically help your baseball/softball players perform better.

30 Minutes, Individual Work (Offense and Defense)

This session each night is designed to help players focus on their individual skills. Defensive nights typically incorporate footwork, glove work, throwing mechanics and arm strength, and other defensive fundamentals that come up throughout the course of a season. Offensive nights will focus on a specific part of the swing, pitch locations, swing mechanics, mindset, timing, approaches, and allow players to hone their skills on tees and front toss drills.

30 Minutes, Team Training (Offense and Defense)

The final session of each workout is designed to focus on "Team" development. Defensive night team sessions will incorporate drills such as cuts and relays, bunt defenses, ground balls/outfield play, turning double plays, flips and feeds, etc. Offensive team nights will be more of a "live" focus more similar to in-game at bats, and we will work on putting the individual skills to work in more of a game-like setting.

Hitstreak has been an amazing experience for my kids and our whole youth baseball team. We have worked with Coach Matt and Coach Mike and have been blown away by both of them. The coaches are great with the kids, so professional but also make it really fun. The progress I see after each practice is outstanding.
