Coach Bio: Don Thoutt

Our team is coached by Don Thoutt and Brad Newman, both coaches have over 50 years of combined experience in coaching youth baseball. Don and Brad were a part of developing the AYL back in the early years and ran the upper division Warriors teams aka “Bulldogs”. They have a proven track record of developing not only collegiate and professional baseball players but also developing athletes that are great community members/ leaders. They both bring an “Old School” approach to the game and are highly focused on player development. I am hard pressed to find another coaching staff at our level with the amount of baseball IQ these gentlemen bring to the table. Parents and other teams coaches have regularly commented on their knowledge of the game and how great their approach to coaching is.
