2027 14U Pugh Team
Coach Pugh Bio:
Baseball has been a passion of mine for as long as I can remember. After spending 12 years playing the game and 4 years coaching youth baseball, I’ve come to believe that success isn’t measured only by wins and losses—it’s built through good habits, a positive attitude, and a commitment to your teammates.
As a former United States Marine, I developed a leadership style centered on putting the team first, rallying together through adversity, and maintaining a positive mindset. Those values continue to shape the way I coach today. My goal is to create an environment where players learn to respect the game, their teammates, their coaches, and their opponents while developing the confidence to think for themselves and take ownership of their growth on and off the field.
At the 14U level, my focus is on teaching the fundamentals the right way, building strong baseball instincts, and helping players develop habits that will serve them throughout their baseball careers. I believe the best teams are made up of players who communicate, trust one another, and compete with relentless effort while supporting each other every step of the way.
Most importantly, I want every player to remember why they started playing in the first place—because baseball is fun. My hope is that each athlete leaves the season not only as a better player, but as a better teammate, leader, and person.
