2027 10U Branam Team

Coach Bio: Matt Branam

My coaching philosophy has always centered around player development and teaching the fundamentals of baseball the right way. I truly love helping young athletes grow their skills, build confidence, and develop a strong understanding of the game.

I played baseball all the way through my senior year of high school as a varsity pitcher, and baseball has always been a huge part of my life. I grew up in a baseball family and have now been coaching youth baseball for over 8 years at multiple age levels. Coaching is something I’m truly passionate about.

Along the journey, I want to help create good habits not just on the field, but off the field as well. Team culture, accountability, effort, and being a great teammate are all extremely important to me. Fundamentals, development, and helping shape good young people will always be the primary focus of the program.

Away from the game, I enjoy spending time with my amazing family. My beautiful wife Jen and I have been married for 20 years, and we have two incredible kids — our daughter Berkley (11) and our son Jackson (9). If we’re not at the baseball field, we’re usually attending sporting events together or spending time at Disney making family memories.

While baseball is a huge part of our lives, we also love supporting our daughter Berkley’s passion for music and choir. Watching our kids pursue what they love and grow in their own passions is something that means a great deal to us as a family.

In my free time, I especially enjoy watching my kids compete, being around the game of baseball, and continuing to learn and grow as both a coach and a person.
