Coach Bio: Jason Hernandez

Jason Hernandez joins HitStreak as the Head Coach of the 12U team, bringing a unique combination of athletic coaching, leadership, and youth development experience. He has coached youth baseball for more than seven years and high school boys basketball in Colorado for over a decade, helping young athletes build confidence, character, and a strong work ethic.

A graduate of Regis University, Jason currently serves as a Regional Safety & Risk Manager, where he leads safety programs, emergency preparedness initiatives, and team development efforts. His background in leadership and risk management has shaped his coaching philosophy: creating a safe, positive, and structured environment where athletes can thrive.

Jason is passionate about teaching life lessons through sports, emphasizing accountability, discipline, respect, teamwork, and resilience. He believes that developing strong character is just as important as developing athletic ability, and he is committed to helping players grow into successful teammates, leaders, and young men.

Jason and his coaching staff are excited to be part of the HitStreak family and look forward to helping players reach their full potential both on and off the field.
