In 5A, the #1 seed Broomfield Eagles came away with a 17-7 victory over #6 seed Legend. However, the game was much closer than the score indicated, as the Eagles were down two runs before an 11-run fifth inning propelled them to the school’s first ever softball title. Even more impressive, the team was 26-2 overall and did not lose to any Colorado teams this season. The other two teams reaching the final four were #2 seed Cherokee Trail and #5 seed Eaglecrest.

At the 4A level, the #3 seed Holy Family Tigers outlasted #1 seed Windsor 7-4, themselves being catapulted by a big inning with six runs in the fourth inning. The win is Holy Family’s fifth in school history. #2 seed Palmer Ridge and #4 seed Lutheran rounded out a final four comprised of the four top seeds entering the tournament.

In 3A softball, the #1 seed University Bulldogs edged out #2 seed — and three-time defending champions — Eaton Reds 5–4, thanks to a walk-off single from Jasi Cole. The victory secured University’s second state championship. #5 seed Wellington and #6 seed Brush also advanced to the semifinals.

The 2025 CHSAA All-State Softball Teams were also announced to close out the season, with the champion Broomfield Eagles earning both Player of the Year honors for Ireland Heer and Coach of the Year recognition for Kale Gilmore.

We're proud to have hosted so many dedicated players and teams at HitStreak facilities. Congratulations to everyone on a great season, and best wishes to all the Colorado graduating seniors as they take the next steps in their academic and athletic journeys!
